In 2005 Hillary went to live with her new family in California.  Fortunately for us, circumstances changed and she was able to come back to Sedoso in 2009.  One week after returning to us and only 90 days from whelping a litter, Hillary took two Awards of Merit at the 2009 Havana Silk Dog National Specialty in Virginia Beach, VA.  

It doesn't take a rocket scientists to figure out she's a spectacular bitch.

Besides having excellent conformation, she was also blessed with one of the nicest coats in the entire breed.   Not only is it like silk, but it doesn't mat.  Ever.  Plus, it's luxurious.  Not just soft, luxurious.  And the great news is, she passes it onto her puppies. 

Additionally, she's got a bulletproof personality.  Sometimes adult dogs need a few days to adjust to new surroundings.  Not Hillary.  She just walked back into our house four years later, hopped up on the couch and announced she was home. 

Hillary is retired from showing, having achieved both her HSDAA and AKC Championships in short order (in fact it took 2 weekends to earn her HSDAA Championship) and enjoying her life as a pet and mother.
